Rampant corruption in Gati Shakti Unit-DRM/GTL may be taken into CBI custody

This is the trailing news regarding CBI Raids currently in progress since 04.07.2024 onwards. at DRM’s office in Guntakal Division, South Central Railway.

Inputs coming from sources from #Guntakal state that #CBI is pursuing investigation deeply to unearth the actual #Corruption done in a #Tender case awarded in an #infrastructure related works by #GatiShakti Unit.

As many as around 50 CBI officers divided in various teams along with local state police are camping in DRM’s office, Guntakal, residence of DRM/Guntakal.

Interrogation of staff and officers attached to Divisional Accounts and Gati Shakti unit and involved in this high-profile case is still in progress.

What we here is that the #DRM-Guntakal Mr. Vineet Singh’s house is been searched by a team of CBI Officers and he may be taken into custody along with #SrDFM Mr. Pradeep Babu later tonight.

Most interestingly, the Chief Project Manager (#CPM), a Senior Officer of Gati Shakti unit has fled on hearing the CBI’s surprise raid.

One ex-Senior divisional engineer and now posted in #SCR Head Quarter office Mr. U. Akki Reddy was also taken by CBI from Secunderabad to Guntakal for investigation purpose.
