Is it a crime to be a Senior Citizen in India?
Senior Citizens are not a burden but they are the valuable assets for any society, system and the country! But the Govt is treating and dumping them as lawarish!

In India, Senior Citizens after 70 years of age are not eligible for medical insurance !
They do not get loans on EMI !
Driving license is not given !
They are not given any jobs for financial work! So they depend on others!
He had paid all the taxes in his youth.┬а Now even after becoming a senior citizen he has to pay all the taxes on his savings, retirement fund, gratuity etc. and that too used by the government with very minimal return.
There are no schemes for Senior Citizens in India.
The 50% for females and 40% for males, concession on railway journey is also discontinued.
This is a horrible and agonized thing and too much disappointing situation for the Senior Citizens.

No care is taken to avoid any trouble in the lives of senior citizens. Wind justice!
The government spends a lot of money on non-renewable schemes, but it never feels that a scheme and the minimal concessions is necessary for senior citizens!
On the contrary, by reducing the interest rate on the bank deposits, government is reducing the income of the senior citizens.

Now, there is information and also the talk of government circles that the government is considering to restore and to allow the concessions for the senior citizens on Railway travel but hiking the age limit 70 years and above.
This should not be accepted in any condition. If the government doesn’t restore it as earlier then it will be useless for the senior citizens because very few people are able to travel after 70 years of age.
