Railway P.Way Engineers assured 100% safety of passengers on Railway track
New Delhi: A safety seminar organized by Association of Railway P.Way Engineers (ARPWE) on 17th November at Engineers Bhavan, ITO, New Delhi.
Safety seminar was organized on the subject ‘An Initiative Towards Accident Free Work Culture’. Chief guest Member Engineering, Railway Board Vishvesh Chaube with all office bearers of the Association and more than 200 p.way engineers came from various Zonal Railways were participated in the seminar.
ARPWE convener R. K. Uppal, president P. K. Sharma, general secretary Santosh Dubey and finance secretary D. K. Sharma insisted 100% safety of passengers on Railway track.
P.Way Engineers discussed ways for safe running of trains and raised issues related to the p.way engineers in front of Member Engineering, Railway Board Mr. Chaube.
Chief guest Member Engineering, Railway Board Vishvesh Chaube speaking on this occasion, assured that 100% mechanized track maintenance and dedicated traffic blocks for track maintenance will be arranged for safe working on tracks. This will reduce the staff runover cases and accidents on busy track, he said.
