The living proof of stupidity and idiocy !
Converting Passenger Train coaches in to Covid Hospitals is a unwise idea as it would put the doctors, paramedical staff and corona patients together in to great inconvenience.
The Trains are diverted to other platforms, it is also a significant inconvenience for passengers because these so called Covid isolation coaches are placed in to mainly main or home platforms in almost all the stations as per district collector or state govt’s instructions.
Further, Lighting, cleaning, ventilation and stabling of these covid coach hospitals on wheels are going to be a challenge for the Zonal Railways and Divisions.
Hence, Railway Board may review this stupid decision.
1. All Divisions and major stations have vacant community halls and large Railway institutes. These should have been offered to be turned into such hospitals.
2. Putting coolers on such coaches has only made them more inhospitable during this peak summer.
3. The cleaning and washing of such coaches may only end up spreading the infection.
4. Since these are isolation coaches, putting them on platform lines may spread the infection to other passengers apart from causing operational difficulties.
Let’s hope, good sence prevails and this “Tughlaqi farman” is withdrawn.

When railway have so many Halls, Railway institutes etc.
Is it necessary to provide isolation coaches at much greater cost & converting them into #Covid_Hospitals putting the doctors, patients etc into inconvenience?
