OPS Issue: Indefinite Strike Notice will be serve on 19th March, and Strike commence on 1st May, 2024
New Delhi: The Core Committee of #JFROPS (#NJCA) which was constituted as per decision taken in the meeting of Steering Committee of JFROPS held on 7th February 2024, met in #AIRF office, 4 State Entry Road, New Delhi at 11.30 hrs, after considering the prevalent situation thoroughly and keeping in view the Non-Response of the Government on Restoration of Defined Guarantied Old Pension Scheme (#OPS) in place of #NPS, has decided that there is no alternative left but to resort to direct action by all the constituent trade unions collectively.
Today Core Committee Meeting was attended by General Secretary AIRF, Convener JFROPS, Dr, M. Raghavaiah Co-Convener and GS/NFIR, Ashok Singh, President INDWF, Smt Gita Pandey, President AIPTF, N.D Diwedi attended the meeting on behalf of Hari Kishore Tiwari, S.N. Pathak, President AIDEF, Rupak Sarkar, General Secretary Confederation, has given their consent on telephone.
It has therefore, been unanimously decided to serve upon Indefinite #StrikeNotice as per relevant Rules on 19th March 2024, and Indefinite Strike to commence on 1st May 2024 i.e. on International Labour Day.
All the Constituent organizations are therefore, requested to take appropriate action and to make all sorts of preparations for serving upon the #Strike-Notice to their respective #Administrations in a befitting manner.
