DG/RPF visited RPF/HQ/S.E.Railway
Kolkata: Sanjay Chander, IPS, DG/RPF, Railway Board , New Delhi visited RPF/HQ, South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata on Thursday, 28th October, 2021.
He was presented Guard of Honour, he also watched the programme UAC which was presented by the young lady constables deployed in suburban section of Howrah-Kharagpur for the safety and security of passengers.
He flagged off the 20 new motor cycles allotted to the South Eastern Railway Zone for better functioning of the RPF day to day work at post level.
He inaugurated conference hall of RPF /SER.
He presided over the meeting of IGs of South Eastern Railway, Eastern Railway, Metro Railway, CLW and Director/ZTI and other officers of the Zonal HQrs.
He appreciated the operation “My Saheli” which is meant for better safety and security of lady passengers.
The google sheets shared to other Zones for ensuring safety of the passengers from originating to destination station.
Operation “Nanhe Fariste” in which RPF has rescued number of small children and minor girls including 19 traffickers.
In this meeting, he guided the RPF officers on various issues for betterment of the Force
He visited GM/SER Smt. Archana Joshi where a meeting was held with other PHODs in regard to the safety & security of the Railway passengers.
