Why the Cabinet Secretary and PMO and the Minister for Railways sitting as silent spectator to the conspiracy hatched by Chairman/CEO Railway Board to weaken the Government?

Why Cabinet Secretary’s approval for posting of GMs and Board Members taken in near about December 2020 before leaving his office by former CRB was not implemented by Suneet Sharma, CEO/RlyBd for 4 months?

This has resulted in vacant Board till last week besides 6 headless Zones and next month the figure will increase to 8 headless Zonal Railways.

This has created indecisiveness when the country is passing through a difficult phase due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Blatant disrespect is being shown to Appointment Committe of Cabinet (ACC) by not seeking their approval for look after charge for ACC positions Board Members, Additional Members, GMs in connivance with certain deviant element in Railway Ministry.

CVC may please order CBI enquiry to identify the root cause of these intentional deviations to favour certain officers at the cost of career progression of others.

Perhaps the scenario of “Railgate” witnessed during Pawan Bansal as Railway Minister is emerging again in face of Prime Minister’s repeated stand of zero tolerance to corruption.

Stern action after fixing up the responsibility of CRB and other co-conspirators be initiated to cleanse the system.
