Some “karnaame” of an SAG S&T officer of Northeast Frontier Railway, completed two years in NFR, transferred from Railtel on promotion from Western Railway. His hometown is Jaipur, Rajasthan and his family lives in Mumbai.

He looks after Signalling and Telecom works of Rangiya, Alipurduar and Katihar division of NFRailway.  He is also nominated as a tender committee member of other tender i.e. Engineering and Electrical also.

It has been observed/experienced that even being such a senior officer, he is a ‘termite’ to the railways with only intention to squeeze money from the contractors, suppliers, his subordinate officers and the tenderers of Civil and Electrical tenderers also being a Tender Committee Member.

Some of his activities have been experienced as under, and which can be confirmed by any of the undernoted parties and individuals.

* Taking/demanding money from Signaling & Telecom Contractors even for their bills, extension, approval of genuine variation, otherwise if not paid, verbal instructions to his subordinates for not to do any of the above work.

* In the process he has collected a huge amount in crores and transferred to Mumbai through his agent.

* Called all the Manufacturers of Signaling & Telecom, from across the country and took money for granting permission even for RDSO approved items and firms.

* Called all the tenderers across the country and took money for accepting the tender as a Tender Committee Member by threatening them.

* Took money from all his subordinates i.e. Deputy/DSTE/ ASTE/ SSE/SI by threatening them for Confidential Report, Transfer, Posting and Leave etc.

Accepting unworkable rates of Telecom tender by taking money from the contractor and permitting execution and supply of materials by compromising all safety and security aspects of the railway.

Only agreeing to the work he is getting money either from the contractor as well as the subordinates.

If railway administration has no power to do something or terminate/ suspend the corrupt officers like him, at least they should not be posted at any such place/post where they can repeat his practices and do any damage to Railway Authority.
