RailTel is now the 22nd CPSE to receive this honour, marking a key achievement in the company’s 24-year journey.
Established on September 26, 2000, #RailTel began as a #telecom service provider for #IndianRailways. The company has also built one of the largest integrated public Wi-Fi networks globally, providing services at 6,112 railway stations across the country.
RailTel’s diverse portfolio includes data centre services, cloud solutions, #MPLS-#VPN, security operations, and railway signalling projects, making it a vital player in India’s telecom and IT #infrastructure development. This robust infrastructure is supported by a Central Network Operation Centre (#CNOC) and four region-based Network Operation Centres (#NOCs).
